JAMES 1:27 MINISTRIES

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Lifesong Adoption Fund

Approximately 153 million orphans world-wide are trapped in a cycle of hopelessness without anyone to love them, protect them, or care for them. Many forever families would like to adopt but cannot because of the financial barrier. RCC has partnered with Lifesong for Orphans to help reduce that barrier. If you are a member of RCC and are interested in applying for support for either a domestic or an international adoption, please contact Heidi at 217.498.9264.

In His Hands

They are committed to helping children in the U.S. foster system and orphans overseas. In His Hands is committed to educating Christians on the desperate need of orphans all over the world and how they can make a difference.

Tracy’s Heart

Tracy’s Heart is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. It opened in 2008 in response to the needs of the nearly 80,000 women that were brutalized during 6 years of war. Tracy’s Heart began as a home where these women could come to live so they could begin to heal. The ministry now includes business training in areas such as basket-making, sewing, and flower arrangements. The women complete Biblically-based business training, and when they graduate, they receive micro-loans and supplies to begin their own businesses. The ministry has expanded to include outreach programs to prostitutes and prisoners and is also now accredited as a school so the women can finish their education and earn diplomas.
